Abu Dhabi-based Stellaria has secured $6.8 million in new funding to scale its geospatial AI platform across the Middle East and North Africa region.
The startup uses satellite imagery combined with machine learning to deliver real-time analytics for agriculture, urban planning, and environmental monitoring — sectors where the MENA region faces acute data gaps.
The funding round was led by regional investors who see geospatial AI as critical infrastructure for the Gulf's diversification strategies. Stellaria's technology helps governments and enterprises make data-driven decisions about land use, water resources, and climate adaptation.
The raise comes as Gulf states accelerate their AI investment agendas, with the UAE positioning itself as a regional hub for applied AI in sectors beyond fintech and chatbots.
