OpenSwarm
An AI-first OS where agent swarms do the work in parallel
Visit website →About
OpenSwarm is not another AI app sitting on your desktop. It is an AI-first operating system designed from the ground up for agents to run directly on. Apps create themselves, browsers control themselves, and swarms of agents work together on different tasks simultaneously.
The idea is simple: instead of juggling ten windows and doing one task at a time, you tell it what you want and the swarm distributes the work. One agent researches ten companies, another writes code, a third runs tests — all sharing files without overwriting each other.
You can sign in with your existing Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini subscription, or add your own API keys. The app runs on macOS and Windows today, with everything local on your machine. A cloud version is coming for when you need larger swarms.

Why we picked it
Most agent tools focus on a single agent writing code. OpenSwarm flips the model: a full swarm working in parallel on different tasks and merging results. It feels closer to an operating system than an AI tool, and that is what makes it interesting.
