Opal is a no-code visual builder for AI workflows from Google Labs. Version 2.0 adds an agent step that analyses a goal, works out the best approach, and automatically calls the right tools, such as Veo for video or web search for research, to complete the task.
It also adds Memory for keeping context across sessions, Dynamic Routing for branching by condition, and Interactive Chat for talking to the user while a workflow runs.
It is aimed at people who build AI workflows visually and want more capable, adaptive behaviour, an agent that decides how to reach a goal, rather than a fixed chain of steps.
