About

Multifactor is a password manager built for sharing access securely, with people and with AI agents. Instead of sending a password, a user shares a link, similar to sharing a Google Doc, that grants access to an account without exposing the credentials.

It imports from LastPass, Apple, or Google in one click, and AI agents can be authorised to log in and take actions on the user's behalf within granted permissions.

It is aimed at teams and individuals who regularly share account access and want to do it without passing passwords around, and who are starting to give agents access to accounts and need that to be controlled.

Why we picked it

Multifactor made the cut for sharing access without exposing credentials, for humans and agents alike — an authorized AI agent logging in through a link rather than a raw password is worth naming as the practical fix for a real, new risk that most password managers weren't built to handle.
