ModelHub is a macOS menu bar app that consolidates the discovery, download, and management of local large language models from Hugging Face. Instead of juggling Ollama, LM Studio, MLX, and llama.cpp folders, you get a single dashboard for everything.
The app uses the standard Hugging Face cache layout, so models you download remain compatible with the rest of the local-LLM tooling on your machine. There is no proprietary wrapping — uninstall ModelHub and your downloads keep working with the rest of your toolchain.
Built for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 12 or newer, the app weighs roughly 4 MB. It is shipped by Sabesh Bharathi through the Conscious Engines studio.
