LUCI Desktop is a free app that records everything on your screen — meetings, code, emails, browsing — and gives AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex persistent memory of your entire work day. Everything stays local on your machine, encrypted at rest, with no cloud copy. The app connects to any agent via MCP with zero per-agent configuration.

Ask your agent about a meeting from last week, a decision from a call, or a page you scrolled past. LUCI supports Apple Silicon Macs and Windows 11. Features include bot-free meeting transcription, daily distillation into plain files in your Life folder, natural language search across screen and meetings, and automatic redaction of cards, keys, and passwords before anything is saved.

The app runs local models — Phi, Qwen, Llama, DeepSeek — switch anytime while your memory stays intact. Retention is configurable: 7, 30, 90 days, or keep everything. Deleting a day removes it entirely from disk.
