Ideogram
Image generator built around text rendering, strongest in Latin scripts
Visit website →About
Ideogram is a text-to-image generator whose distinguishing feature is legible text inside the picture: posters, logos, signage and social graphics with the words you asked for. The company advertises 95 percent text accuracy and a Studio editor with region repaint, text layers and a font library.
For Arabic the documentation is honest. Text comes out most accurately in English; non-Latin scripts such as Arabic render less reliably, and Ideogram's own troubleshooting guide says to keep such text to a word or two. The June 2026 release was marketed as multilingual, but the published benchmark is English-only. Whether its text layers support right-to-left type is not documented.
Pricing in October 2026: eligible free accounts receive a variable weekly credit allowance; pay-as-you-go credits cost one cent each; Plus is $20 a month, or $15 on annual billing.

Why we picked it
Ideogram is the tool everyone names first when the question is text in images, so it belongs in our Arabic-text guide even though its own documentation says Arabic is not its strength. Our news hero images are generated with it under a no-text prompt, and the Arabic is added as a layer afterwards.
