Emdash is an open-source agentic development environment that lets a developer run multiple AI coding agents side by side from one desktop app. Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini, and more than 25 other agents can run simultaneously, each in its own isolated git worktree.
Each session runs in a clean working directory so agents do not step on each other. When a session finishes, Emdash shows the diff inline and lets the developer merge, discard, or open a pull request without leaving the app.
Free and open source under Apache 2.0 for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and provider-agnostic. It is aimed at developers who want parallel agent work with proper isolation.
