About

Claude in Chrome lets Claude navigate, click buttons, and fill forms in a user's browser. It works with Claude Code and Claude Desktop and is in beta for all paid subscribers after months of real-world testing.

It also adds a Claude Code integration: a developer can build in the terminal, verify in the browser, and debug with Claude reading console errors and DOM state directly.

It is aimed at people who want Claude to act on web pages as part of a task, and at developers who want their coding agent to be able to check and debug its work in a real browser rather than reasoning about it blind.

Why we picked it

We picked Claude in Chrome for the developer loop it enables specifically — build in the terminal, verify in the browser, debug with Claude reading the actual console errors and DOM state, which closes a gap Claude Code alone couldn't reach.
