About

Busabase solves a real problem: AI agents do work and produce results, but everything disappears in the chat window when you close it. Busabase keeps agent work as data, docs, skills, and apps that the whole team can come back to.

The project is open source under MIT. Run it on your laptop offline, on your own server, or on the cloud. It connects to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, n8n, and any agent that can call a REST API. Every change is recorded with its source and full history.

The workspace has five types: Data (tables), Docs (shared knowledge), Apps (internal tools), Skills (saved workflows), and Playbooks (how your team does things). Agents read and write through the same structure, so nobody starts from zero.

Why we picked it

AI agents produce a lot of work but nobody saves it in an organized way. Busabase keeps every agent output in one place the whole team can access. Open source and local-first — that matters for teams with sensitive data.
