About

Almanac is an AI agent that knows your company. Connect your accounts in one click and it builds a self-updating wiki from your work across Slack, Gmail, GitHub, and other tools. Every decision, every context, every thread gets compiled into pages that stay current without anyone maintaining them.

Unlike chatbots that fetch on demand and forget between sessions, Almanac maintains continuous memory. It reads the wiki before doing anything, so it starts already caught up. When a policy changes in a Slack thread, the wiki page updates and notes what changed.

Almanac runs on its own always-on computer with its own browser, files, and logins. Even tools without integrations, it signs in and uses them directly. Close your laptop and it keeps working. Text it a task from iMessage or Slack, and it texts you back when it is done.

Backed by Y Combinator. Every wiki line links back to its source, so you can verify the receipt. Proactively notices what needs doing and acts on it, but pings you before any login, payment, or decision it should not make alone.

Why we picked it

What earns Almanac a spot is the always-current wiki, not the chat interface — it compiles decisions and threads from Slack and GitHub into pages that update themselves, which beats a chatbot that fetches on demand and forgets everything between sessions.
