Kuadra's platform automates the procurement and project-management functions that consume the most administrative time at contracting firms: analyzing tender documents, extracting technical specifications, allocating work packages to suppliers and subcontractors, and evaluating bids — all through a single AI-powered interface. Founder and CEO Ahmed Salem says the approach embeds the expertise of experienced engineers into AI workflows, freeing younger engineers from repetitive administrative work to focus on technical analysis and design.
The round, whose size and stage were not disclosed, followed Kuadra's participation in GITEX. Edafa Venture is positioned as a strategic partner rather than a pure capital source, supporting Kuadra's commercial growth and technology development directly. The company is in advanced discussions for a strategic partnership with one of Egypt's five largest construction companies — a deal that would significantly broaden platform deployment — and plans to expand the technology into oil and gas, where procurement, technical documentation, and supply chain operations closely resemble construction workflows.
Kuadra also runs AI training programs for engineering firms and professionals, positioning itself not just as a software vendor but as an adoption driver for an industry sector that remains largely undigitized across Egypt and the wider region.
