Pickle Browser
Browser for your agent, runs local in a window you can see
Visit website →About
Most AI agents waste a huge number of tokens reading raw HTML while browsing the web. Pickle Browser is built specifically for agents: it simplifies page content before the agent sees it, cutting token use by up to 32x, while every step stays visible to you directly on screen. It runs locally on your machine using your real logins, and is compatible with Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, and Codex CLI, plus anything else that speaks MCP.
Safety is built in by design: every action is policy-gated, purchases and irreversible steps need your approval, and everything is logged and watchable as it happens live. Pickle bundles Ollama, letting a small local model run the agent without an API key or cloud connection; weak models are constrained to limited choices that prevent them from hallucinating actions or nonexistent element IDs.
Completely free, runs locally, no account required. Local data like your pages, browsing history, notes, and logins stay on your machine; when a cloud model is used, only the page content and instructions needed for the task are sent to that provider.
